What the shire has run
Baw Baw Shire has put yoga on before. In 2022 it ran free outdoor Pilates, yoga and tai chi on the lawns of the Drouin and Warragul Civic Parks (Baw Baw Shire Council), and its Seniors Week guide for October 2025 listed free yoga at the Warragul Leisure Centre (seniors guide). That centre on Burke Street has a group fitness room with low and high impact classes (Baw Baw Shire Council). A regular class can hire the Drouin Community Hub or the Old Shire Hall in Warragul weekly or monthly (hire terms), and teaching commercially on a council reserve needs a permit under the shire's local law (Community Local Law).
