Why the place matters
Each council sets its own rules for classes in its parks, and each city has its own mix of studios, halls and community centres. In Melbourne's Glen Eira a permit is required for any commercial activity in a public reserve, and yoga is named among the classes it covers (City of Glen Eira). Each city and regional page below explains the local picture.
